Teen Dating Violence is when a teenager experiences violence in a dating relationship. Young women who are trapped in this form of relationship unfortunately often bear it silently. Not only does this syndrome place them at emotional and physical risk, it could kill them. Teen dating violence crosses all racial, economic, and social lines. Furthermore, statistics show that one in three teenagers has experienced violence in a relationship.
